At Toddletown, we believe in providing a play-based curriculum that meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. Our nursery is equipped and staffed to ensure the very highest quality of care, and we pride ourselves on our highly trained team of early years professionals.
What You Will Be Doing
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring that staff deliver outstanding childcare while maintaining compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding regulations. You will also play a key role in leading and mentoring staff, building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and assisting with enquiries, tours, enrolments, and budget management.
Who We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. A minimum of two years’ post-qualifying experience in an early years setting is required, along with at least one year of leadership experience in a nursery environment. You should have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding practices, and nursery compliance requirements.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with children, parents, and colleagues. You should be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
