About the role:
The Reward and Benefits Partner will develop LifeArc’s approach to reward, benefits and recognition and ensure the provision of best in class benefits to ensure high levels of colleague engagement and understanding of their reward and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver reward programs and initiatives to support key strategies in talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Own all policies related to rewards.
- Serve as the custodian of the job grading framework; review and approve all requests for grade changes to support organizational effectiveness in clear role definition and job levelling.
- Own and embed the Benefits Strategy; support the HR Operations team in the rollout and implementation of the Benefits program.
- Own and embed the Recognition Strategy and framework; support the HR Operations team in the rollout.
- Lead the HR team through the annual pay review and bonus process end-to-end, ensuring HR Operations have the data and information to produce reports and letters.
- Lead external and internal salary and reward benchmarking, role evaluation, and positioning.
- In partnership with the HR leadership team and Senior HR Business Partners, embed the reward and recognition strategy for LifeArc.
- Prepare Executive Remuneration analysis and benchmarking.
- Prepare Remuneration Committee papers, attend Rem Co meetings, and present data.
- Prepare and report statutory diversity pay gap reports, ensuring that equal pay and any pay gap issues are monitored and addressed.
- Lead relationships and contracts with third-party suppliers (e.g., Benefex, L&G, Mercers, WTW, or survey providers), driving competitive rates/terms for benefits in collaboration with HR Operations.
- Contribute to the selection and management of third-party suppliers, including pension, healthcare, and insurance providers.
- Provide reward expertise and guidance for HR and line managers, fostering a broader understanding of rewards within HR and management.
- Set up and maintain agreed standard reports, and provide bespoke reports as needed.
Education & experience required:
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience working in a Reward role.
- Experience and knowledge of all aspects of the annual compensation cycle including salary and bonus review, market data collection and analysis, market research and budgeting for salary increases, pay range development.
- Experience as working as the lead Reward specialist in a similar size organisation or as a part of the senior team in a larger organisation.
- Expertise in selecting and completing salary surveys to provide insightful data.
- Experience in implementing best practice reward programmes with HR colleagues, including developing and delivering effective communications for target audiences
- Proficiency in selecting and implementing best in class benefits packages and Supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking methods, vendors and market trends.
- Experience and understanding of Job evaluation methodologies and application.
- Experienced in preparing Remco papers including carrying out the necessary research to provide context and best practice to support decision making
- Significant experience working as part of the HR team to deliver and operationalise the annual reward and benefits activities.
Desirable:
- Experience of Performance Management process desirable
Skills & abilities:
- Strong financial and analytic acumen including the ability to leverage and interpret data to extract meaningful insights for informing better Reward package design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and make presentations to Executive Team members and other leaders.
- Detail-oriented; ability to meet deadlines and to make professional judgement and critical decisions with minimal guidance.
- A hands-on and pragmatic approach
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to build trusted relationships effectively and quickly in all areas of LifeArc experience working in a Reward role
- IT literate in MS Office (Word, Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and HR & Payroll Systems)

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience along with other exceptional benefits.
