Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a passion for acute fracture management and service development? We are offering a unique opportunity for two individuals to jointly lead our dynamic Virtual Fracture Clinic (VFC) team within the Outpatient Physiotherapy Service at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This one-year fixed term role offers the chance to shape the future of VFC services across our Trust. You’ll play a key part in the expansion of our successful VFC model, supporting its development into a cross-site service.
About The Role
As Joint VFC Team Lead, you will provide skilled leadership to our dedicated VFC and outpatient physiotherapy team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred service. Working in close collaboration with the VFC Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants, and the wider MDT, you will contribute to continuous service improvement and innovation.
This role combines clinical expertise with operational leadership, making it ideal for physiotherapists looking to step into a more strategic role while still maintaining a strong clinical presence.

Main duties of the job
- Provide expert clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the VFC and outpatient physiotherapy team.
- Manage a complex caseload as an autonomous practitioner, using highly specialist physiotherapy skills and knowledge.
- Lead on service development and quality improvement initiatives within the VFC, including the implementation and evaluation of new policies and procedures.
- Support the clinical development of team members, including the supervision and teaching of physiotherapists and students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care pathways and enhance the efficiency and reach of the VFC model.

- BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Evidence of relevant post graduate courses
- MSc study in MSK image interpretation completed or working towards

- Relevant B6 experience in MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy including in VFC

- Previous B7 Outpatient Physiotherapy Experience
