Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planned Care Project Coordinator based at University Hospital Ayr.
Please note this is fixed term vacancy for 12 months
What You Will Do
As a key member of the small, but influential Access team, you will work with a wide range of managerial and clinical staff. You will take responsibility for developing and maintaining a robust and detailed project monitoring tool, measuring additional patient activity linked to additional funding and demonstrating delivery across a large number of individual projects. You will also take responsibility as project coordinator for a number of projects related to planned care, including the RefHelp Right Decisions project to develop a platform for all referral pathways, and the Allocate e-job planning roll out.
You will work closely with managers and waiting times coordinators in the various specialties across Acute Services. You will also have interaction with numerous other departments including the Scottish Government Waiting Times Policy Team, NHS Scotland Centre for Sustainable Delivery, as well as other internal NHS departments such as Finance, Planning and the Information Team.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
Applications should have a degree in administration / project management or equivalent experience, along with practical experience of using various office tools and other project management systems. Knowledge of NHS waiting times and the Trakcare patient management system and/or Opera Theatre Management system will be highlight desirable.
You should have excellent attention to detail, a ‘can-do’ attitude and demonstrate a drive to get the job done well.
