Are you an HR Leader with a passion for developing talent within a family-owned business environment? We are seeking an experienced HR Director who will lead and manage human resources across a diverse portfolio of family-owned companies. In this pivotal role, you will focus on cultivating leaders, implementing effective succession planning, investing in internal talent, and fostering a positive organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership Development:

  • Design and implement leadership development programs to enhance skills and capabilities at all levels.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify high-potential employees and create personalized development plans.

Succession Planning:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive succession planning strategy aligned with the group’s long-term goals.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning meetings to ensure readiness for key roles.

Talent Investment:

  • Establish talent acquisition strategies that attract and retain top talent.
  • Create programs that promote internal progression and career development, ensuring employees have opportunities for growth.

Culture Development:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture across all companies in the group.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and communicate company values and mission, integrating them into everyday practices.

Performance Management:

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective feedback and performance evaluation processes.

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and job satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all companies.
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Advisory Role:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR-related matters.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that support strategic business initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a family-owned business environment is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing HR strategies that drive performance and engagement.
