Are you an organised, detail-oriented housing professional with a passion for supporting vulnerable tenants?


We’re looking for a proactive Rents & Voids Officer to join our Housing Services team and play a key role in managing rent collection, addressing arrears, and coordinating efficient turnaround of void properties across our supported accommodation schemes.

You’ll work closely with colleagues, tenants, and external partners to help maintain tenancy sustainment, accurate rent accounts, and effective property management.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital community mental health service in a collaborative and supportive environment.


You will:


  • Monitor rent accounts and address arrears through early engagement

  • Support tenants with welfare referrals, advice, and payment planning

  • Coordinate void processes from notice to re-letting

  • Liaise with contractors and referral partners for viewings and sign-ups

  • Ensure correct rent and service charge billing in collaboration with Finance

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance reports

  • Support broader tenancy management and service improvement work

    You are:


  • Experienced in supported or social housing, particularly rent and voids management

  • Skilled in communication and problem-solving

  • Knowledgeable in housing benefit systems and welfare support

  • Committed to person-centred support and tenancy sustainment

  • Comfortable working across teams and maintaining accurate systems and records

  • Passionate about equality, inclusion, and community mental health
