University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. Medical Support Secretary Neurosciences - Royal Stoke Site

Working Days: Monday - Friday

The post holder is required to support the medical secretary in the delivery of comprehensive secretarial, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team.

The post holder will assist medical and nursing colleagues in the organisation of the specialty team workload, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients/carers, ensuring compliance with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of inpatient waiting list management and typing correspondence and/or transcribing and typing up of minutes as appropriate. The post holder will cover the workload of other members of the Neurology administration team as required.
