The Opportunity

In this role you will .....

• Manage all aspects of internal and external incidences relating to raw materials, including daily spot checks vs specification and maintenance of the Focus list, working with Purchasing to investigate and resolve all raw material and packaging issues.
• Carry out follow up visits / Teams Calls to suppliers as required.
• Collect raw materials for Due diligence sampling.
• Assist in setting up and maintenance of the Evolve system to improve traceability across the site and in all areas.
• Support High Care QA with raw material issues.
• Check and request supplier traceability back to source.
  
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 1 year experience in quality/technical/ raw material QA role in fast paced, chilled, food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, Level 3 or higher Food Hygiene, Level 3 HACCP
• High attention to detail, personable with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Please note this is site that produces meat based products in a cold environment
• Good knowledge of MS Office - Word / Excel / Power Point.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including both written and verbal communication.
