We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate team of live-in carers to support a gentleman living with a spinal injury in Crowthorne, RG45. This is a great opportunity to provide consistent, one-to-one care in a calm home setting, working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a client in their own home, where he lives with his wife and a cat. The client has a Spinal Cord Injuries and is preparing for discharge from hospital. He also has heart conditions and arthritis, which are part of his ongoing care needs.
Care will be provided by a rotating live-in care team, with carers alternating on a fortnightly basis to ensure both continuity and appropriate rest.
As a live-in carer, you will be:
Job Type: Live-in care – 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
Shift Pattern: Fortnightly live-in rota
Pay Rate: circa £140/day
Location: Crowthorne, RG45
Driver: Good to have (not a must)
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for caring and reliable individuals who can communicate well and provide steady, respectful support. Ideally, you’ll have around 6 months of care experience in the UK, but you don’t need any previous experience with spinal injuries — just a willingness to learn, a great attitude, and a genuine commitment to quality care.

Training & Support:

- Supporting mobility and safe transfers (hoisting needs TBC)

- Working closely with the client, his wife, and professionals involved in his care
