Rota Nanny for Twins

Overview

An international family based in Notting Hill is seeking two experienced and professional Rota Nannies to care for their two-year-old identical twin boys.

This is a long-term role suited to candidates with a strong track record working in fully staffed, high-net-worth households, and in similar 24/7 rota positions. Experience caring for twins aged 2 and above – not just babies – is essential, as is a confident, capable approach to managing the needs of busy toddlers.

This easy going and relaxed family travels extensively throughout Europe, including two months each year in ski resorts, as well as annual long-haul travel to Australia, so candidates must be travel-savvy and well-organised.

The successful candidates will be bubbly, energetic, and educationally focused and sporty, with a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting early development and routine transitions. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages, particularly French or Italian – are highly desirable.

The boys will be starting pre-school three half-days a week from September, and the Rota Nannies will help manage their evolving schedule and support their development.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Rota Nanny for identical twin boys in Notting Hill, London include:

• 24-hour care for twin boys during working weeks, managing all aspects of their daily routine
• Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate, and educational activities
• Support early development and transitions e.g. toilet training, sleep routines
• Keep children’s areas tidy and well-organised
• Manage packing and logistics for frequent international travel
• Travel with the family or fly ahead to prepare accommodation e.g. childproofing, setup
• Collaborate with other household staff; ensure smooth communication with parents
• Shared care when parents are present (as they work from home)
• No cooking or laundry duties, but a strong “muck-in” attitude is expected

Candidates must be/have:

• Significant experience caring for twins aged 2+ as a Rota Nanny
• Background in HNW, fully staffed households
• Right to work in UK/UK Passport
• Proactive, warm, and confident with strong common sense and teamwork
• Experience supporting families on ski holidays and extensive international travel
• Solid knowledge of toddler developmental milestones and transitions
• Fluent English, with French or Italian highly desirable
• Pet-friendly, as the family has two dogs
• Excellent organisational skills and a hands-on approach
• Demonstrable long-term commitment and continuity

Location

Notting Hill, London – with frequent international travel to Europe, the Alps and Australia.

Hours

Rota schedule: Two weeks on/off, providing 24-hour cover during working shifts.
