NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
There are 2 permanent, fulltime posts of 37 hours per week available, with a shift patter of Monday to Sunday (5 over 7).
This post is open to both Nursing and AHP candidates.
Clyde Sector are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic applicant to join a well-established and friendly Frailty Service. This post provide an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop Frailty Services within an expert multi-disciplinary team.
Within this role you will join the Frailty team at RAH (an element of cross site cover may be required). You will be supported by a dedicated team of Consultant staff who are committed to improving the patient pathway to promote and deliver high standards of patient care, outcomes, experience, safety and quality. Your application and interview will demonstrate the skill set needed to join us in delivering, developing and teaching expert care within the exciting and challenging Frailty specialty.
Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for geriatric care and evidence of Frailty expertise.
Clyde Sector is committed to supporting and funding successful candidates to undertake post graduate training. Successful candidates should have a portfolio demonstrating achievement of an appropriate specialist post-registration qualification (usually a masters level qualification) and the Advanced CNS/specialist competencies necessary for the role or be committed to achieving Masters level Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist qualification.
