Reports to IAM Manager

The purpose of this position is to carry out user access reviews on all applications and banking platforms administered within the team. In addition, to investigate and implement measures to enhance these processes to be as efficient as possible and introduce automation, where possible.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the organisation and signing of various paperwork
  • Following robust procedures and controls
  • Access administration across multiple banking platforms, applications and systems
  • Accurate execution of processes and procedures to ensure access administration is performed in a controlled and auditable manner
  • Completion of application and system recertifications to ensure access rights are appropriate
  • Ensure appropriate segregation of duties are adequately maintained across all applications and services
  • Investigate ways in which the current access reviews can be automated/more efficient going forward and implement these measures
  • Carrying out other duties as required within the team

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

Essential

  • Experience and sound knowledge of using Outlook, Microsoft Word
  • Expert Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience. This is crucial
  • Experience of operating within tight controls, processes and procedures
  • Ability to carry out all duties accurately
  • Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity
  • Ability to follow documented processes accurately and efficiently
  • Strong problem solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to co-ordinate with outside teams and clients regarding policies, procedures or standards and controls
  • Cooperative and strong individual contributor

Desirable but not essential

  • Previous experience administering banking platforms
  • Previous experience carrying out user access reviews
  • Experience of administering financial application systems
