As a Job Coach, you’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering tailored support to interns placed in real work environments. You'll coach and mentor young adults aged 16-24 with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), helping them thrive in the workplace and build the skills they need for independent employment.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Providing on-the-job coaching and one-to-one support at host businesses
- Supporting students with job preparation, interviews, travel training and workplace behaviour
- Collaborating with employers, tutors, families and professionals to ensure each intern’s success
- Promoting disability awareness and inclusive practice with host businesses
- Applying for Access to Work and advising on basic benefits and expenses
- Helping plan and deliver induction, open days, graduation events and outreach activities
- Keeping accurate records, supporting risk and safeguarding processes, and attending training
- Willingness to complete Level 3 Supported Employment qualification
- Experience supporting individuals with SEND into employment
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Confident in using IT tools and managing caseloads
- A proactive, flexible and person-centred approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
