The Operations Coordinator (Aberdeen) will join a dynamic and fast-paced SMART Pigging Solutions department whilst being based on-site at the Aberdeen Service Centre. This position drives operational effectiveness across the Aberdeen Service Centre business by coordinating schedules, managing logistics, supporting compliance systems, supporting order invoicing and improving internal processes. The Operations Coordinator is vital in maintaining efficiency, tracking performance, and supporting the wider operations team with execution of key projects and KPIs.


You will need to be a strong communicator and able to build good working relationships with all departments to successfully co-ordinate equipment movements.

Represent the company at the highest standard whilst effectively reporting to the relevant personnel.


Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to iNPIPE PRODUCTS management team. Identify, investigate, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update the workshop site planner
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and resource planning across multiple departments
  • Provide support with equipment packing and forklift duties for goods arriving or leaving site
  • Monitor and manage part inventory and initiate manufacturing requests as needed
  • Liaise with sub-contractors to manage and communicate supporting scopes of work
  • Prepare and support reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Track and monitor operational KPIs, identifying areas for process improvement
  • Maintain records of equipment and associated inspection timelines
  • Manage shipping and logistics for equipment leaving sites, always ensuring clear communication
  • Assist in Consolidating monthly site metrics across areas such as safety, quality, and operations performance
  • Attend Operations Meetings and maintain minutes of meetings (MoMs) where required
  • Promote and uphold a proactive, process-focused safety culture across the site


Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Adaptability and resilience under pressure; able to multitask and manage shifting priorities independently
  • High personal integrity and strong ethical standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good standard of general education with minimum standard grade, or equivalent passes, in English and Maths


Desirable

  • A proven background in operations support, ideally in operations, service or field-based industries
  • Experience working with planning or operations systems
  • B3 Forklift license is desirable
  • Banksman slinging training is desirable
