About The Role
Support the survey manager in the delivery of all survey requirements for the
project as the technical/operational lead on a project. On a larger project, will be the
survey manager for a section of works supported by a team.
Tasks include engineering control, topographic survey, engineering surveying and
setting out. Provide the site team with construction information, assist in QA/QC,
and support H&S (Health & Safety) and sustainability initiatives within the survey
department.

setting out. Provide the site team with construction information, assist in QA/QC,
and support H&S (Health & Safety) and sustainability initiatives within the survey
department.
What you'll be doing
Core
- Deputise for the ESM as required, liaising with the project management
- Implement a standardised approach to the capture of all survey data and
- Produce deliverables to strict deadlines in accordance with the site
- Collecting survey field data, processing, and issuing to clients or
- Ensuring all site-specific tolerances are met in any survey related
- Ensuring the safe and secure storage of all historical survey data relating to
- Manage, mentor, and supervise survey teams. Ensure they adhere to the
- Involved in the recruitment and management of an employee lifecycle.

Relevant degree/masters/Diploma in either Geospatial engineering/Land
surveying/Engineering surveying, or equivalent industry recognised
qualification.
- Hold a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- SMSTS
- Full member or working towards full membership of CICES or RICS
- Ability to work collaboratively with all teams
- An elevated level of understanding and experience in design, construction
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in organizing and managing site survey teams
- Knowledge of and checking design deliverables in various digital formats
- Appreciation of setting up and maintaining of machine control systems
- Experience in settlement monitoring systems, methods, and technologies
- Experience in geodetic requirements associated with project requirements.
- Experience using latest survey equipment, software, and technologies.
- Experience in establishing GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)
