About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: 06:30am to 15:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Chef to join our Catering team. This role will be based at our prestigious client site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors.

About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: 06:30am to 15:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Chef to join our Catering team. This role will be based at our prestigious client site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To manage and monitor the Kitchen and food operation at KBR Leatherhead
- To effectively manage within budgetary restraints.
- Preparation and service of all restaurant and hospitality requirements.
- Conform to client and company specifications.
- To continuously develop and improve food quality and hygiene standards.
- To monitor customer trends and demands.
- To have knowledge of changes in legislation.
- To meet clients and company expectations this could be in the way of monthly reviews
- To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client via management team or directly.
- To recruit, train, develop and motivate staff your chef team.
- To ensure that adequate products, equipment and materials are available to the contract standard.
- To ensure that products, equipment and materials are properly stored, used, maintained and controlled.
- To apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service and compliance with the specification
- To meet potential customers to discuss their requirements and provide quotations.
- To meet the expectations on any new concepts and innovation this to include live cookery, grab & go and theme days and marketing promotions
- To control the budgets for kitchen staff, products and materials within KBR leatherhead and accurate stock takes.
- Timely recording and remitting of all company bookwork where instructed by the Management within KBR
- To hold regular Team Briefings with the kitchen team at KBR Leatherhead (minuted) that cover all relevant topics as outlined on the company Team Briefing sheet.
- Maintain staff kitchen records within KBR Leatherhead and training within legislation and company policy, using both in-house and external training schemes.
- Must have right to work in the UK
- Proven record of excellent budgetary control and management.
- P&L control and accountability of service delivery.
- People management skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
- IOSH an advantage
- Basic food hygiene level 3
- Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable
