We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development, testing and optimisation of our medical devices.

Role Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced team members to develop software solutions for product development, functionality, testing, and manufacturing processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of impactful projects that improve healthcare outcomes and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for medical devices to ensure robust functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in the development, training, testing and deployment of our AI vision models both on-device and cloud.
• Develop and maintain test software for device performance validation and troubleshooting.
• Assist in developing and maintaining mobile and web applications that interact with our medical devices.
• Potential to work on integrating data pipelines with third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless data sharing and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technical support, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure all software is well-documented and adheres to medical device quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, C++, and Typescript.
• Knowledge of software development life-cycles and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with a wide range of platforms from cloud-based systems to hardware running embedded Linux.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in the healthcare industry or experience in medical devices is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively within a small team.
