We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development, testing and optimisation of our medical devices.
Role Overview
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced team members to develop software solutions for product development, functionality, testing, and manufacturing processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of impactful projects that improve healthcare outcomes and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for medical devices to ensure robust functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the development, training, testing and deployment of our AI vision models both on-device and cloud.
- Develop and maintain test software for device performance validation and troubleshooting.
- Assist in developing and maintaining mobile and web applications that interact with our medical devices.
- Potential to work on integrating data pipelines with third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless data sharing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technical support, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure all software is well-documented and adheres to medical device quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, C++, and Typescript.
- Knowledge of software development life-cycles and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with a wide range of platforms from cloud-based systems to hardware running embedded Linux.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in the healthcare industry or experience in medical devices is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively within a small team.
