We're seeking a dynamic Commercial Director to partner with our Service Operations Director, leading a 50+ strong team of commercial and finance professionals. You'll drive financial performance, develop commercial strategy, and implement best practices while managing risk and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who thrives on creating new concepts, driving change, and working effectively across diverse teams. You'll need to excel at prioritizing in challenging situations while providing sound commercial leadership to our Senior Commercial Managers, Contract Managers, Project Accountants, and Finance Assistants.


You will make an impact by:

  • Driving commercial strategy and stakeholder management to meet overall business goals

  • Build/maintain relationships with Operators, Owners/ROSCOs, DfT

  • Develop strategic partnerships, positioning Siemens as 'partner of choice'

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and anticipate future requirements (e.g. modifications, overhauls etc).

  • Set and drive financial targets in line with business strategy and ensure compliance to drive productivity

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and budgeting processes

  • Conduct contract negotiations and optimize commercial relationships, maximising entrepreneurial opportunities to enhance company profitability

  • Implement robust business modeling and cost improvement processes for the business unit, providing continual cost improvement to achieve benchmark efficiency

  • Maintain risk assessment and NCC measurement standards

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through clear objectives and strategy


Your success will be grounded by:

  • Degree qualified with a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)

  • Extensive experience in large-scale commercial project management

  • Strong financial modeling and business case expertise

  • Proven risk and contract management skills

  • Excellent track record of managing teams with a history of delivering results within challenging parameters

  • Excellence in stakeholder management and communication

  • Strategic thinking with commercial acumen
