Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Paediatic Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. We offer a full Interventional Paediatric Service, including therapies, seeing young people from 0 to 18 years old in our Outpatient department.

Proven experience in the fields of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions is essential. Experience of using standardised assessments and outcome measures in Paediatrics is also required.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. The department is open Monday to Friday.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
  
  

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
