Location: This role is offered on a permanent contract. It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby or London office.
We are seeking a Senior Group Finance Systems Accountant to join RS Group plc. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in our Group consolidation and planning system, OneStream, supporting efficient financial reporting and planning across a global organisation.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the maintenance, development, and optimisation of OneStream, ensuring it remains aligned to evolving business needs. Working within the Group Financial Control team, you’ll work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders across regions and functions to deliver a high-quality, reliable and insightful planning and reporting platform.

We are seeking a Senior Group Finance Systems Accountant to join RS Group plc. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in our Group consolidation and planning system, OneStream, supporting efficient financial reporting and planning across a global organisation.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the maintenance, development, and optimisation of OneStream, ensuring it remains aligned to evolving business needs. Working within the Group Financial Control team, you’ll work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders across regions and functions to deliver a high-quality, reliable and insightful planning and reporting platform.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the design, build, test and deployment of OneStream system improvements and new functionalities.
- Gather and validate business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Maintain monthly consolidation processes to support accurate actuals and forecast reporting.
- Provide day-to-day systems administration, including user support, access management and troubleshooting.
- Deliver training and change management support for new and existing users.
- Support BAU financial processes and develop in-system reporting capabilities to enhance decision-making.
- Ensure strong controls, documentation, and governance are maintained across all developments and deployments.
- Expert understanding of OneStream architecture, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining applications.
- Strong coding skills for business rules and formulae, with proven experience of leading system enhancements or implementation projects.
- Understanding of Group planning and consolidation processes within a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong communicator who can collaborate across regions and functions and deliver effective user support.
- Proactive approach and a desire to deliver continuous improvement.
- Commercially astute with a good understanding of the relationships between financial statements.
