Are you an enthusiastic and self-driven individual looking for an exciting opportunity? Come and join the DC scheduling team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the DC scheduling department. Your primary duties will include maintaining the Kronos time and attendance system for our Distribution Centre colleagues and supporting the DC Management team to ensure the accurate reflection of worked hours. This role is crucial in ensuring that all information is systematically controlled and accurately handed over to the payroll team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the DC scheduling department. Your primary duties will include maintaining the Kronos time and attendance system for our Distribution Centre colleagues and supporting the DC Management team to ensure the accurate reflection of worked hours. This role is crucial in ensuring that all information is systematically controlled and accurately handed over to the payroll team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Provide advice and answer queries from the senior leadership team regarding scheduling of shift patterns.
- Plan for yearly update of shift patterns, ensuring patterns are issued to colleagues in a timely manner.
- Ensure shift patterns, pay rules and work rules are maintained on Kronos.
- Support the DC Scheduling Team with daily and weekly task prioritization
- Provide the DC TL’s and SM’s with advice to ensure they are working within New Look policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain a productive working relationship with HR and Payroll.
- Own the DC Flex working approval process (based on collaboration with training/planning/SLT to establish requirements)
- Fulfilling the department’s reporting commitments
- Create and maintain annual patterns & rota’s
- Create and maintain Flexible shift patterns
- Ensure that all amendments to shift patterns are accurately reflected in Kronos
- Calculate Flex working/New starter pro ration hours & rota patterns
- Provide support recruitment process and update Kronos with new starters information
- Ensuring all DC exceptions are clear for weekly payroll sign off
- Maintain quarterly uniform process for the DC.
- Ensuring control of stock levels and any ad hoc PPE orders are fulfilled
- Reception cover as and when required including maintaining absence line
- Ensuring the contracts are up to date in Day Force for DC Colleagues

WHO YOU ARE
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Confident in communications with all levels of management.
- Ability to manage own workload
- Ability to communicate Face to Face, through e-mail and also on telephone with all levels of colleagues through to management
