The role:

Are you passionate about precision engineering, electronics, and solving real-world challenges under the surface?


We're looking for an experienced and practical Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our specialist team developing high-performance SONAR, navigation, and imaging sensor products used in demanding maritime environments.


You'll play a pivotal role in transforming cutting-edge designs into robust and repeatable production processes. From prototyping to full-scale manufacture, you'll ensure our electronic systems are built to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for advanced sensor systems and electronics.
  • Design and implement custom tooling, jigs, and test facilities to streamline build and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DfM) from concept to production.
  • Provide hands-on fault-finding at component level, supporting live production and prototype debugging.
  • Drive process development and continuous improvement to increase yield, efficiency, and quality.
  • Create and maintain production documentation: SOPs, build guides, test instructions.
  • Support and train production technicians on assembly and diagnostics techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards ISO 9001.
  • Assist in qualification and testing new or alternative materials for production.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding issues affecting Tritech quality or production and training out test procedures.
  • Assistance with refining and updating technical purchasing specifications to ensure suppliers meet Tritech requirements.


What You’ll Bring:

  • HND/HNC or Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in electronics manufacturing and process engineering
  • Strong skills in component-level fault diagnosis and hands-on debugging
  • Experience with PCB assembly, test development, and industrial tooling
  • Solid understanding of DfM, NPI processes, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Clear communicator and team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to organise your own time and work both autonomously and as part of a busy team in a calm, controlled manner


Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in SONAR, marine electronics, or navigation systems
  • Knowledge of low-noise analogue, high-frequency, or signal processing electronics
  • Experience of configuring and optimising manufacturing software applications would be an advantage
