Job Description
Working as part of the facilities and maintenance team, the role will support compliance related tasks across the site.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): -
- Perform regulatory and non-regulatory site compliance checks
- Responsible for recording & reporting findings of compliance tasks to maintenance supervisor
- Update of Maintenance CMM compliance task register
- Assist contractors with MEWP & roof access tasks
- Organisation /control of Maintenance Dept. stores areas.
- Control critical equipment stock levels and ensure areas have a high level of housekeeping
- Determine, prepare and store ‘critical equipment spares packs’ in preparation for planned maintenance events as set by Maintenance supervisors.
- Engage in frequent, consistent communication with Maintenance supervisors, providing regular feedback on parts status.
- Update maintenance CMM stock control system
- Computer literate.
- Articulate / good communication skills.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Technical background; understanding of maintenance function.
- Experience of working in a factory environment
- Knowledge of inventory / stock control.
