Senior Management Accountant


As a Senior Management Accountant, you will enjoy working within a diverse and welcoming culture, where you will gather and analyse financial information for internal use, compile forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making and provide insight into variances.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out internal and Group reporting procedures including the compilation of management accounts
  • Support Budgeting and Forecasting process
  • Cash management and Forecasting for the business
  • Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee tax related issues at the company and liaise with other stakeholders on tax matters
  • Calculate Research & Development tax credit for company
  • Support Financial Controller in any areas that are required
  • Advise on problems and suggest improvements
  • Supervise lower-level personnel


The Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as management accountant, finance professional or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of FP&A and month end processes
  • Working knowledge of ERP software (ideally SAP or IFS) and Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical mind with aptitude in maths
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or working towards one

ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
