Senior Management Accountant
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will enjoy working within a diverse and welcoming culture, where you will gather and analyse financial information for internal use, compile forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making and provide insight into variances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out internal and Group reporting procedures including the compilation of management accounts
- Support Budgeting and Forecasting process
- Cash management and Forecasting for the business
- Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee tax related issues at the company and liaise with other stakeholders on tax matters
- Calculate Research & Development tax credit for company
- Support Financial Controller in any areas that are required
- Advise on problems and suggest improvements
- Supervise lower-level personnel
The Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as management accountant, finance professional or similar role
- Strong knowledge of FP&A and month end processes
- Working knowledge of ERP software (ideally SAP or IFS) and Microsoft Excel
- Analytical mind with aptitude in maths
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A problem-solver with attention to detail
- Relevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or working towards one
Where you will work
ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
