Role Description
This is a full-time, mobile role for an Information Technology Field Technician. The Technician will provide technical support for desktop computers, servers, WiFi and printers, assist with troubleshooting issues, and perform computer repairs. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical problems, maintaining hardware, installing and configuring software, and providing user assistance. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure that technology resources operate smoothly and efficiently across the Trust.
Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Desktop Computers and Printer Support
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are a plus
- Previous experience in educational settings is advantageous
