The Radiology Department are seeking a highly motivated band 5 Registered Nurse who is keen to enhance/develop clinical skills to work within Golden Jubilee Radiology Department.
The Radiology Department provides a high quality, efficient and effective Radiology service to the local population, including General X-ray’s, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology (including cardiac intervention).
The successful candidate will join the small team Nurses working within the Radiology Department. The role involves providing support to the Radiologists/Radiographers undertaking interventional Radiology procedures. Nursing support is also provided during Ultrasound and CT procedures such as lung biopsy, drainages and within the general department as and when required.
The successful applicant should be committed to the provision of high quality patient focused care, have a flexible approach to the service needs. Previous Interventional Radiology nursing experience is desirable however training will be given and candidates with evidence of relevant transferable skills will be considered. You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to act as a role model to others within the team, adapting to variable service demands, change and improvements.
