Volunteer Engagement Officer
Acorns Children's Hospice Trust

Acorns Children's Hospice are now looking for a Volunteer Engagement Officer (Recruitment Consultant) to support with the recruitment of volunteers. This is a part time role, working 4 days per week.
About the Role
We are a registered charity, based in the West Midlands and we care for life-limited or life-threatened babies, children and young people and support their families. As a charity, we have valued volunteers who donate their time at our hospices, shops, fundraising events and in the local community.
As Volunteer Engagement Officer, you will:
- Work closely with Managers to find candidates to fill their volunteer opportunities
- Attend recruitment events, career fairs and other events to share opportunities at Acorns
- Engage with the local community to promote volunteering at Acorns
- Use the volunteer management system to monitor recruitment progress
About You
- Recruitment experience
- Experience of building relationships with external organisations
- Able to travel independently to attend events
- Experience of recruiting volunteers would be advantageous

- £20,120 per annum for part time hours (£25,150 FTE)
- 30 hours per week (over 4 days)
