We are hiring a Solutions Consultant to join our team in the UK.

The Solutions Consultant will support clients in multiple geographic regions and will be responsible for providing business and technical consultation to sales teams, prospects and customers to achieve sales goals. You will work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering to create solutions that provide immense business value. You will become intimately acquainted with customers’ business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and service history, enabling you to present and sell targeted business solutions. This role may, at times, require up to 60% travel on average.

This role may, at times, require up to 60% travel on average.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
- Drive ResMed’s Digital Health business solutions within an assigned region and/or customer account base.
- Demonstrate excellent technical, relationship building and sales skills in working with prospects, customers, vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum HI solutions are provided to customers.
- Develop an advanced level of technical acumen on ResMed’s Digital Health Solutions and a thorough understanding of the EMEA Market.
- Able to recognize and pair the best consultative activities that demonstrate exemplary customer partnerships by incorporating individual customer needs with appropriate HI solutions.
- Consult with ResMed customers on our HI Solutions. Define business needs and propose solutions, engage implementation teams, and manage accounts through post implementation to ensure solution adoption and outcomes success.
- Perform gap analysis on the customer’s current architectures and workflow—identifying challenges and opportunities.
- Specify the scope, tasks, milestones and deliverables needed in order to successfully develop outcomes.
- Identify new sales opportunities and call points, while maintaining current assignment levels that drive consistent productivity and outcomes.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal SBU partners to ensure optimum HI solutions are developed and delivered.
- Identify industry needs and trends. Stay abreast of all customer reimbursement and profitability concerns and other HI industry initiatives that impact ResMed's business.
- Consistently collaborate with Regional Managers, Sales Managers and Strategic Support Representatives on all execution plans.
- Provide technical consultation and education to the internal teams by keeping them apprised on new product information.
- Define all of the elements of a customer’s implementation of Digital Health solutions including their technical environments and how this impacts the overall solution
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal communications and customer service skills and foster open communication to ensure efficient flow of quality information
- Attend customer calls with the Sales Team
- Achieve quarterly and annual quota targets.
- Articulates highly technical concepts, including administrative and physical controls of information security, in a digestible way, using plain English to ensure all stakeholders understand our solutions and projects.
- Experience mapping, analysing and improving processes (clinical transformation experience desirable).
- In depth knowledge of NHS service landscape, funding arrangements, and national tariff.
- Operates in a highly dynamic, changing market/competitive environment.
- Significant travel within the UK and sometimes required to work non-core business hours.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and effective professional interpersonal skills (phone, email, in-person).
- 3+ years’ experience and success in a solution-focused environment.
- Deep knowledge and experience working with (or within) the NHS.
- Proven success in growing existing business accounts and relationships providing quantifiable new value within the customer lifecycle.
- A passion for understanding and learning data, and new technology systems.
- University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- English and French language proficiency
- Project and process management experience (Six Sigma, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
- 3+ years’ experience managing or contributing to operational process improvements.
- Experience of Customer Success management.
- Experience of software solutions in a hospital environment.
- Experience in the medical device and/or sleep / respiratory industry.
- Italian language proficiency
