We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Coffee to own our hot beverage category and deliver a bold, innovative coffee strategy that inspires our teams and delights our customers.

About the Role
As Head of Coffee, you won’t just manage the day-to-day—you’ll set the creative direction for our entire hot beverage programme. You’ll be the driving force behind innovation, quality, and team excellence, shaping a coffee culture that reflects our brand values and excites our associates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a cutting-edge coffee strategy that elevates quality, consistency, and creativity across all coffee touchpoints

  • Spearhead the integration of coffee offerings in our large-scale refurbishment projects, ensuring everything is ready to impress from day one

  • Develop and coach barista teams to build technical skills, passion, and pride

  • Collaborate with partners like Hej and Starbucks on seasonal activations and product innovation

  • Drive commercial success through smart product mixes, customer engagement, and rigorous quality standards

Your Impact:

  • Champion coffee quality across espresso, filter, and speciality drinks

  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team, creating a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence

  • Deliver unforgettable coffee experiences through storytelling, tastings, and engaging activations

  • Support sustainability initiatives with a focus on ethical sourcing and waste reduction

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards, while monitoring key performance metrics

Who You Are:

  • A true coffee enthusiast with deep knowledge from bean to cup

  • An inspiring leader with proven experience managing large teams in coffee or speciality beverage environments

  • Commercially savvy and creative, balancing operational efficiency with innovation

  • An excellent communicator and motivator who builds trust and champions inclusivity

  • Experienced in training and developing baristas to reach their full potential

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a coffee environment

  • Strong foodservice and catering skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service

  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards

  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong organisational skills
