Operations Supervisor

This role supervises our Maintenance team, who are responsible for maintaining our InFocus Assets. The Supervisor role is there to ensure the team are set up for success and our able to meet targets set by the business What you'll be doing.. What you'll be doing
  • Coordinating the prompt completion of general maintenance and allocating daily tasks to operatives through our inhouse system Webops.
  • Carry out regular weekly performance reports to ensure SLA’s are being completed and build positive relationships with the Local authorities in the Region.
  • Supervise and assist the team’s day to day, ensuring the teams routes are planned and efficient to enable SLA’s, whilst adhering to company policies.
  • Coaching the team have an understanding of the impact of their role and be the first port of call, encouraging respect and open communication.
  • Raise any challenging queries to the right person so the team is supported.
  • Efficient and economical use of materials amongst the team.
  • Work within Health & Safety guidelines, and safe systems of work ensuring that accidents, hazards and near misses are reported immediately.
  • Work with SAP, adhering to stores booking in/out and stock management procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle, including related documentation.
  • Depot Responsibilities such as ensuring facilities are kept maintained and arranging of services to the facilities in a timely manner.

  • Fully proficient in computer software packages (Microsoft word, Excel etc).
  • Prepared to work in all weather conditions and comfortable with working at height within safety guidelines and undertaking reasonable lifting duties.

  • Ability to use initiative and breakdown problems and find solutions using rational judgement.

  • Work under pressure whilst prioritising and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and work within other departments within operations.
  • Flexible to suit business needs which may include some out of hours/callouts at evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full clean driving licence. (HGV License is advantageous but not essential).
  • Literate and numerate in order to complete necessary paperwork.
  • Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • NRASWA, IPAF and PASMA (would be an advantage).
