Job Description

Job title: Machine Setter Operator

Role Type: Fulltime permanent, 4 days a week, 37.5 hours per week

Location & Hours: Southend 6.30am - 4.30pm Mon to Wed and 6.30am to 4.00pm Thursday

We are an opportunity for a Machine Setter Operator to join us at Honeywell, in Southend, where you will be responsible for producing products to client specification and quality standards, including premium 13-amp sockets and switches. We boast high volume manufacturing sales, as the number one brand, and are used across the world in businesses, the leisure industry, education, and healthcare to name but a few.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient running of presses, including setting and changeover of press tools
  • Completion of First offs and quality paperwork
  • Comply with all relevant Health, safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements
  • Carry out activities in line with Company procedures and process standard work
  • Identify improvements

Qualifications

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Hands on experience of operating Power Presses and Set Press tools, (not CNC)
  • Experience in single action & progression tooling and setting
  • Must be familiar with all associated quality standards for pressed parts
  • Good communicator at all levels
