Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong interpersonal and client facing skills to join our data analytics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports to data-driven support decision-makers across the organisation whilst also liaising with our client and their subsequent data analyst’s to streamline business processes.

As this role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights, strong business centric communication skills are imperative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Optimise Qlik applications for performance and scalability.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Qlik tools and data interpretation.
  • Document data models, processes, and dashboard logic.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key strategic clients. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client
  • Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor their performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive reporting for continuous improvement through collaboration with the client and field teams and feedback.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on National and Regional performance, contract compliance, and risk management. Analyse supplier data to identify trends and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working with Qlik Sense.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and storytelling with data.
  • Experience with data modelling and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
