Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled mobile Telecomm & Data Comms Engineer to join our IT Services team based in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work across our client base and contribute to our innovative projects!
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Telecom and Data Comms cabling that supports an established network. This role will suit an individual with a strong understanding of network cabling and who enjoys problem solving.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Telecom and Data Comms cabling that supports an established network. This role will suit an individual with a strong understanding of network cabling and who enjoys problem solving.
Some of the key deliverables of the role include:
- Always ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Installation, fault finding and provide support across Telecom and Data Comms systems
- Working across cabling network architecture, (Telephony, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a & Fibre Optic)
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with different technical support teams
- Use online operations reporting platforms
- Proven experience in Telecom and Data Comms field
- Solid understanding of cabling network architecture, (Telephony, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a & Fibre Optic)
- Familiar with current network cabling test equipment
- Understanding of best practices in Telecom and Data Comms installation and fault finding.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full Driving Licence
- Security Clearance or willingness to go through the process
