We're on the lookout for a talented Power BI Analyst with strong SQL skills and exposure to Snowflake. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, create meaningful insights, and influence decisions across the business.

The Role

As a Power BI Analyst, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering clear, insightful dashboards and data models that help teams across the organisation understand performance and uncover opportunities. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, write and optimise SQL queries, and deliver visualisations that drive real-world action.

This role requires someone comfortable working across the full data journey - from querying and wrangling data to crafting polished, user-friendly reports. You'll also gain exposure to Snowflake and have the chance to help shape best practices as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reports
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, join, and analyse data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and clear storytelling through visualisation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and reporting standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience using Power BI to deliver high-impact dashboards
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to present data in a clear, meaningful way
• A collaborative approach and ability to translate business needs into data solutions
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model (1 day per week in Heald Green)

Nice to Have

• Experience working in financial services, insurance, or regulated environments
• Understanding of data modelling best practices
• Work with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse (exposure required; training provided)
• Familiarity with DAX and Power BI Service features (e.g., dataflows, workspaces)
