Job Purpose
As a Specialist IT, you will report to the Head of IT and serve as a key technical person for our Cambridge site, while providing essential support in managing our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem in collaboration with the rest of the Team. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, making this an exciting and dynamic opportunity for IT professionals who thrive in a collaborative and evolving environment. You will have a some focus on our ERP systems such as Veeva and/or SAP.
Your profile
Major Accountabilities
Microsoft Expertise: Leverage your strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 tools, including but not limited to Intune, Autopilot, Defender, SharePoint, Teams, to optimize and secure our IT environment.
Veeva & ERP Support: User and systems support for our Veeva and SAP products. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure these systems align with operational needs and compliance standards
IT Support: Provide top-notch technical support to our employees both remote or onsite, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth IT experience for all. Deliver training to enhance adoption and efficiency. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users and devices, ensuring smooth transitions and access control.
Infrastructure Management: Assist in the management, implementation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and cloud-based systems.
Security and Compliance: You will have a very strong security mindset and will collaborate to implement and monitor with security measures to protect our sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among teams by proposing new solutions and optimizing tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, etc.
Project Participation: Contribute with your expertise to IT projects aimed at enhancing our technology capabilities and efficiency. Document technical solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base to support continuous improvement and team learning.
Adaptability: In the early stages of our IT department’s growth, be prepared to wear multiple hats and assist with various IT-related tasks and challenges as needed.

Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or proven experience.
- Good knowledge of Veeva products or SAP products is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and services.
- Proven experience in IT system administration and support.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- 2 to 3 days a week in our brand new Cambridge Office.
