About The Role

As a Station Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading all PRM activities over the whole operation. They will fully understand the requirements of the service and will respond to LLA directly for requests. They will ensure staffing levels and standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that are we are compliant with all elements of relevant legislation and ensure compliance with ECAC.
  • Foster a culture of a continuous improvement methodology across the operation and sharing best practice across the contract – to be able to identify trends and action feedback from stakeholders and passengers alike.
  • Lead and develop their team to ensure a motivated and supported work force.
  • To lead, develop and empower their Duty Managers to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved. They will set objectives and manage the team as appropriate. In addition, they will support the industrial and employee relations team and agenda as appropriate.
  • To be proactive in communicating to the airport stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative way and identify risks to the operation and how they are being mitigated. To also ensure that there are lessons learnt and wash-up sessions are held as appropriate.
  • Drive provision of governance information on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to demonstrate team's performance and build action plans to respond to performance issues and drive service enhancements.
  • Responsible for operational stakeholder relationships.
  • Responsible for management of local budget and will hold team accountable.
  • Responsible for the resourcing of the operation, delivering timely, assured, and comprehensive resource plans that are within forecast and the budget. Seasonal plans are to be finalised at agreed intervals with LLA and the Regional Director.

  • Knowledge of WJ processes and ethos
