What you'll be doing
The Successful Candidate Will
- Manage all costs in relation to infrastructure projects with experience of identifying commercial risks and opportunities in respect of their works;
- Provide support to senior members of team in delivering varied commercial duties including responsibility for procuring and managing supply chain;
- Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities, whilst achieving the required standards and quality for our customers;
- Assist with commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide support and adherence for the Gated Business Lifecycle process.
The Following Qualifications Or Equivalent Are Essential
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
- An organised, innovative and creative Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on Projects;
- Previous experience of managing costs and maximising value;
- Experience of financial and commercial control within a project;
- Experience of procuring and managing supply chain;
- Experience of working as part of commercial teams;
- Maintain a Personal Development Plan;
- Supports the development of others;
- Membership of RICS or ICES (or working towards this accreditation);
- Proven record of working to deadlines, working efficiently and to a high standard;
- Experience of infrastructure projects with resilience and determination to succeed.
