Patrol and Response Supervisor
The Patrol and Response Supervisor reports to the Contract Manager and oversees front-line employees for Northern Ireland's Patrol and Response Team. This role involves deploying trained staff to assignments, providing support and supervision to improve efficiency, and achieving company and client KPIs.

Main Duties
- Ensure all client KPIs are completed as agreed
- Ensure all payroll is accurate as per requirements
- Ensure site visits are up to date for the operational area
- Ensure Phase site Training is up to date and Assignment Instructions and
customer.
- Ensure the operational establishment is maintained.
- Financial Controls are implemented in line with budgets.
- Employee Management: Maintain strong relationships with employees, monitor care visits, respond to queries, plan activities, ensure audit-ready records, collaborate for best practices, conduct monthly KPI meetings, validate engagement records, resolve complaints, identify staffing shortages, assist recruitment, induct new hires, ensure training completion and correct licensing (SIA DS, SG, CCTV), and maintain accurate employee information on G4S systems for scheduling and payroll.
- Company Procedure: Support Contract Manager in maintaining and reviewing Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments, seeking continuous improvement in work practices, ensuring a safe work environment and up-to-date Health & Safety assessments, undertaking regular site audits, delivering operational reviews, and complying with all legal and regulatory policies (Health and Safety, GDPR, Information Governance).
- Resource Management: Work with Contract Manager, Employee Co-Ordinator, Area Operations Coordinator, and Operations Support Hub to ensure sites are fully resourced, collaborating with recruitment and screening to satisfy contractual and temporary work orders within budget.
- Training & Development: Ensure all site-specific training is completed and renewed, develop staff in technology use and efficient management reporting,
- Financial Controls: Facilitate new business starts, additions, reductions, and temporary work through staff deployment. Investigate pay queries, approve holiday applications, ensure employees work contracted hours, report exceptions (Red Hours), control direct costs (uniform, training, expenses), and ensure timely entry of scheduled duties into the G4S payroll system.
- Performance & Welfare: Monitor daily performance, take corrective action for performance/behavioural issues, conduct investigations for serious issues, resolve officer issues (pay, uniform, PPE), assist with second-line recruitment interviews, ensure employee induction and appropriate training, plan annual leave and relief cover, support long-term sick employees, and conduct exit interviews.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance management systems and operating processes for operational savings, improve efficiencies without compromising quality or safety, and establish continuous improvement processes within the service area.
- KPIs: Client KPIs, payroll accuracy, up-to-date site visits, current Phase site Training, Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments signed off by customer, maintained operational establishment, and implemented financial controls.
- 5 year checkable employment history; Right to work in UK unrestricted and complete CTC vetting
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be able to qualify for Security Industry Authority Licence.
