About The Role:
Working Days: Working full-time, Monday - Friday
As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading a team of cleaners to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users of the site.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team, ensuring all members are motivated and tasks are completed efficiently
- Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills, knowledge, and understanding to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and Health & Safety compliance on similar sites/environments, ensuring all activities adhere to regulations
- Experience in training and inducting colleagues, providing guidance and support to new team members to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained, addressing any issues promptly
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided
- Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good attention to detail and high standards of work, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Strong communication skills, essential for client liaison and effective team coordination
- Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards
