Position:
Positioned at the heart of the business, our Procurement team play a key role in enabling the expansion of the group.
We are looking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Buyer to work as part of the purchasing team to achieve departmental and group targets - achieved through active researching, selection and purchasing of quality products and materials in line with the wider procurement strategy.
Reporting directly into the Senior Buyer, this is an opportunity to support the purchasing function across multiple divisions on both new and existing projects. You will work closely with the team as we look to continuously innovate and improve our existing processes, whilst providing relevant cost analysis to maximise profitability and sustainability.
Strong stakeholder management skills will be key as you liaise between site teams and suppliers regarding materials required, as well as the hire and off-hire of plant equipment as needed. Those with strong negotiation skills and an appetite to build strong working relationships will thrive in a fast-paced environment at a time of sustained growth for the business.

Qualifications And Experience
- Preferred experience within the Construction/Building Services industry
- An understanding of supply chain management and logistics
- Experience in liaising and negotiating with a wide range of individuals and organisations
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality control
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Quick-thinking with a flexible attitude to the role
