We are looking for a talented Temporary Customer Order Management Representative to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for Cummins in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
This is a temporary role for 12 months.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the full order life cycle from order entry to delivery.
- Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with global cross-functional teams, including parts distribution centers and manufacturing sites.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries through detailed research and deep understanding of internal systems and processes.
- Accurately maintain order records and customer communications in the appropriate systems to ensure full traceability.
- Ensure compliance with export policies and prepare required shipping/export documentation in line with relevant legislation.
- Act as a liaison for quality concerns, submitting Material or Process Non-Conformance claims via the Quality Management System.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external reports, and support customer visits at the local Huddersfield facility.
- Contribute to departmental goals by supporting process improvements and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Proven ability to deliver results through effective time management, prioritization, and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer support and building lasting customer relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with accurate data entry and solid computer literacy.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Education, Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education requirements.
- Significant work experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain, with intermediate-level knowledge gained through training or on-the-job experience.
