An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Assistant to join a leading global investment bank based in Canary Wharf. What you'll do:

  • Proactively manage complex diaries for multiple stakeholders, coordinating internal and external meetings with careful attention to competing priorities.
  • Partner with relevant groups to arrange travel bookings, create detailed itineraries, and ensure all travel and entertainment expenses are processed accurately within policy guidelines.
  • Handle both internal and external client interactions professionally, including scheduling departmental activities and managing transactional processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business management teams and other key stakeholders across lines of business to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
  • Utilise internal systems effectively for accurate data entry, reporting production, and information collation as required by the team.
  • Work collaboratively with assistants across different lines of business to provide coverage when needed, ensuring continuity of support.

  • An understanding of expense systems coupled with the ability to champion cost control initiatives effectively among peers.

  • A calm, composed manner that supports effective partnership across teams regardless of seniority or department structure.
