Harris Computer are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be hybrid-working, 2 days from our Manchester city centre office per week (minimum).


The HR Administrator will be part of the International HR Team and have the responsibility for the administration duties across a number of Business Units, you will collaborate with the HR Team and Business Unit Managers to follow best practice and deliver organized and effective information in relation to benefits, employee life cycles and policies/processes including reporting and analysing information.


The Position


In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:


  • Managing the administration aligned to the full employee lifecycle, which will include actioning the daily tasks within the HR system (Workday)
  • Ensuring all regular reports are ran on time (aligned to new hires, leavers, changes, onboarding status) and provide various ad-hoc reports
  • Analysing and interpret data associated with specific tasks and/or project requirements
  • Responding daily to the enquiries received through our internal Employee Self Service System (this includes answering queries where possible or delegating tasks to the relevant individuals)
  • Supporting Payroll by providing information for Employees in different international markets
  • Supporting the International HR team when it comes to mergers/acquisitions and projects
  • Providing ad hoc support to the HRD and HRBP when required


What we are looking for


  • Previous experience within a HR Administration role or similar
  • Experience with managing a high volume workload
  • Proficient IT skills to be able to confidently navigate around Excel & HRIS (experience of Workday is a bonus)
  • Excellent organization skills and a capacity for working independently
  • A self-starter with a retained focus to prioritize and deliver

Note: This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 2 days per week from the office in Central Manchester. Additional travel to other locations will be required when there is a business need.
