Service Advisor

Role:
As a Service Advisor, you are fundamental to the customer experience and overall performance of the Dealership. With a passion for customer care, outstanding interpersonal skills, and basic understanding of vehicle mechanics, you will ensure our customers are advised on the best service and maintenance work for their vehicles, fostering long-term customer relationships and driving sales of valued added services.
Responsibilities:
- Determining services needed by listening to the customer's description of their vehicle’s symptoms; clarifying their problems; conducting technical visual inspections; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules as appropriate
- Discussing all Porsche’s products and services, identifying and selling value added services and accessories
- Raising orders for parts identified to repair the vehicle or as requested
- Tracking the vehicle through the workshop, remaining in constant communication with the customer during the repair process, updating the customer as required and ensuring delivery of the vehicle at the promised time
- Invoicing customers and taking payment
- Meeting ‘walk in’ customers and booking them an appointment as required
- Providing assistance to bookings centre during peak periods
Minimum Attributes:
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance needs
- Face to face customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT literacy and administration skills
- Understand and apply the FCA principles of Treating Customers Fairly in order to deliver good customer outcomes
- Strong focus on meeting customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Desirable Attributes:
- Automotive or service industry experience in a similar role
- Luxury brand experience
- Familiarity with service management software (e.g. CDK)
- Experience of selling valued added products and services

- Basic Salary of up to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
