About The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced ArcGIS Architect to join their Operational Asset Management (OAM) delivery programme. You will play a crucial role in refreshing the organisation's Work and Asset Management capabilities by migrating from legacy systems to modern platforms, specifically IBM Maximo (Maximo Application Suite) and ESRI ArcGIS. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled architect to make a significant impact on the organisation's operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work closely with the Domain Architect to align technology roadmaps with business needs, ensuring adherence to organisational guidelines and standards.
Design Ownership: Lead the design process for implementing new capabilities on the ESRI ArcGIS platform. This includes producing high-quality design documentation and owning the design throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior business stakeholders to translate their requirements into architectural solutions that yield measurable business outcomes.
Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
Presentation: Present architectural designs to peers, OAM Delivery team, and business Subject Matter Experts, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture roles, with a strong focus on solution architecture.
At least 3 years of experience in the Work and Asset Management space, either as a solution architect or a Subject Matter Expert.
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise with ESRI ArcGIS.
Ideally, experience with IBM Maximo (Maximo Application Suite) is preferred.
Experience in a Utility or Capital-intensive Business is advantageous.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of disseminating designs for acceptance and agreement.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior-level relationships.
Knowledge of architecture frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies in a complex delivery environment.
