SLR have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Resource Geologist to join our expanding and highly successful Mining Advisory team, which is part of our wider European Advisory service line.
With our move to hybrid working, combined with our collaborative ‘one team’ culture, location is flexible for this role. However, you would need to be within commuting distance of one of our offices: Our Locations

The role
With Support And Mentorship From Colleagues, You Will
- Undertake geological site work, such as core logging, sampling, and mapping
- Assist with the design and supervision of mineral resource drilling programmes
- Generate and manage geological databases
- Review, interpret and report geological data
- Carry out geological modelling and help prepare technical reports
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and contribute to business development within the company

About You

- University Degree (or equivalent) in Geology (or related subject) and formal academic training in Earth Science
- Graduate level membership of a relevant professional body (or eligibility for)
- Experience of drilling fieldwork, core logging and sampling is desirable
- Familiarity with spatial software such CAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo or QGIS, as well as geological modelling software, such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write concise reports and confidence to interact with clients
