Nuffield Health is the charity that’s building a healthier nation, one day at a time. From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes – we’ll do whatever it takes to look after the UK’s wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.

Join the UK’s largest healthcare charity and help us deliver accurate, high-quality financial and non-financial reporting that supports key decision-making, ensures regulatory compliance, and protects our reputation.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst at Nuffield Health, you’ll play a critical role in our month-end reporting cycle and external reporting obligations. This includes providing accurate data and insightful analysis to both senior internal stakeholders and external bodies such as the Office for National Statistics and lessors under various lease agreements.

Your work ensures we meet our statutory reporting obligations — helping us avoid costly fines and protecting our reputation in the sector.

As the Financial Reporting Analyst, you will:

  • Support the delivery of monthly reporting, including reviews of key balance sheet items and below-the-line entries such as interest.
  • Prepare and analyse data required for external submissions, including statutory and regulatory returns.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to senior business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure tight deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity in reporting.
  • Investigate and challenge anomalies in the trial balance and other financial data sources.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.

To succeed as a Financial Report Analyst, we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting or analysis, ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate data handling and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
  • Excellent Excel and financial systems skills (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. Here, you can choose from a range of fitness, lifestyle, health and fitness wellbeing rewards, such as free gym membership, health assessments, retail discounts and pension options.

At Nuffield Health, we take care of what’s important to you.
