The Customer Service & Sales Lead is responsible for providing excellent customer service acting as the first point of contact to support our customers and clients, with experience in business to consumer sales and process.

This role requires a versatile individual with strong communication and negotiation skills, who can assist with a wide range of inquiries. The ideal candidate will be sales, customer-focused, adaptable, and able to handle a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contact customer and clients either by phone or email to discuss their requirements
  • Prospecting for new clients, generating leads, and converting them into customers
  • Managing customer/ client relationships, and achieving sales targets
  • Working closely with marketing and other teams to align sales efforts and ensure a cohesive customer experience
  • Following up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, sales data – updating CRM salesforce
  • Maintain and update tracker spreadsheets effectively – looking at process and streamlining.
  • Provide administration and customer services support to the Senior Planner and project co-ordinators
  • Managing and answering customer calls, managing expectations and passing them on to the relevant people.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and close deals effectively
  • Understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices
  • Ability to influence potential clients to choose the company's products or services
  • Verbal communication skills, including active listening, for confidently and clearly resolving queries
  • Written communication and accurate typing skills
  • Organisation skills for managing multiple customer queries simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills for resolving complex customer queries
  • Conflict resolution skills for managing interactions with challenging customer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with CRM software
