Ford Performance seeks an experienced and driven International Sports Car Marketing Specialist to join our Motorsports team.
This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with an understanding of motorsports, and a passion for Ford's sports car program. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of international sports car motorsports marketing activities.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Solid experience in the field of marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in motorsport event marketing.
- Exceptional self-starter with the ability to confidently take ownership of projects and execute strategies with minimal oversight.
- Highly organized, adept at establishing structures, designing efficient processes, and ensuring timely, accurate task execution.
- Strong bias for action, demonstrating quick, clear, and decisive project management, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Resilient problem-solver, capable of thriving under pressure, adapting quickly, and making sound decisions in highly dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with a personable approach to building and maintaining strong connections across diverse stakeholder groups, from internal teams to external partners and customers.
- Ability to travel extensively (approximately 70% of the time) internationally, often for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Direct experience with WEC (World Endurance Championship) event marketing.
- Experience working within an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or a supporting agency.
- A genuine passion for sports car racing and the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Global Sports Car Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Ford's presence in the international sports car racing arena. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and execution of the LMDh factory program marketing plan for the World Endurance Championship (WEC), integrating it into the broader Ford Performance and Sports Car racing strategy.
- Orchestrate and execute impactful trackside activations, hospitality programs, and compelling content creation at WEC and other major international sports car events, including proficient agency management.
- Coordinate seamless VIP and Executive hosting experiences at key international sports car races.
- Drive engagement with regional markets across major sports car racing calendars (WEC, SRO, DTM), fostering participation in activations, trackside hosting, and content development.
- Manage comprehensive event vehicle logistics for WEC and major international events, including coordination with regional markets for shipping, preparation, and support of:
- Show cars
- Hot Lap Programs
- Demo events
- Factory / contracted driver vehicle loans
- Provide collaborative support for significant regional sports car activations (e.g., 24 Hours of Spa, Nurburgring 24 Hours, Bathurst 12 Hours, etc).
- Collaborate with the Ford Performance Brand and Design Managers to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive branding initiatives, including team gear, fire suits, garage and environment branding (hospitality, team suites), and event collateral/giveaway items.
- Support the Ford Performance Sponsorship Manager in prospecting new partners and managing existing relationships for LMDh and LMGT3 programs, ensuring flawless execution of Ford Performance deliverables for all international sports car sponsorships and partnerships.
- Develop and refine sports car engagement toolkits for global dealers and regional markets.
