We’re now excited to be launching a brand-new nursery in Hucknall and we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our founding team and help build a warm, inspiring environment where children can succeed from the very beginning.

Job Description:
We are searching for a passionate and committed Early Years Educator to join our Hucknall team. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or higher) and demonstrate a strong dedication to supporting the holistic development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Observe and monitor children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to parents and carers.
  • Support children’s personal, emotional, and social development, encouraging constructive behaviour and interactions.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a unified and high-quality learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals, forming strong relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to all safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or higher) is essential.
  • Previous background working in a nursery or early years environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently.
  • Passionate about early years education and development.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
